When placing an order, we collect necessary customer details:​

  • Order & Delivery Details: Name, shipping address, email address, and phone number (used strictly for order confirmations, postal routing, and delivery tracking).
  • Technical Lens Specifications: Lens make, model, and focus ring diameter measurements required to model and manufacture your custom gear ring.
  • Direct Inquiries: Information provided when contacting us regarding custom CAD modeling, sizing questions, or general support.

3. Payment Processing

  • We never store, handle, or have access to your credit card numbers or banking credentials.
  • Card transactions, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are encrypted and processed securely by certified PCI-DSS compliant payment providers (Stripe).
  • If you choose to pay via Klarna, your contact and order details are securely transferred to Klarna Bank AB so they can assess your eligibility for their payment options and tailor them to you. Your personal data is handled in accordance with Klarna’s Privacy Notice.

4. Shipping & Logistics

  • Shipping details (recipient name, address, email, and phone number) are transferred securely to PostNord for dispatch generation and parcel routing.
  • For orders shipped outside the European Union, item descriptions and values are declared on postal customs forms (such as CN22/CN23) in compliance with international postal regulations.

5. Data Retention & Accounting

  • Customer order records and technical lens data are stored securely to maintain production history, assist with future fit adjustments, and honor the Kugglab Quality Guarantee.
  • In accordance with statutory Swedish accounting regulations (Bokföringslagen), billing records and transaction receipts are retained for the legally mandated period (7 years).

6. Your GDPR Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Request an export of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request immediate correction of incorrect or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data, provided it is not required for statutory tax and accounting obligations.
