Engineered and made to order in Sweden. Every Kugglab focus gear is individually modeled with parametric precision, dedicated to turning vintage and photography glass into reliable cinema tools.

Parametric CAD & Bespoke Engineering

  • Individual Modeling: Every gear is individually generated in Fusion to match your exact measurements. We do not use stretched stock rings or loose universal adapters.
  • Dual-Sided Lead-In: Symmetrical entry chamfers on both sides allow the ring to slide effortlessly onto the focus ring from either direction, seating firmly with simple hand pressure.
  • Complex Geometry Support: Stepped, tapered, or irregular focus rings are individually drafted from customer measurements and reference photos for a secure mechanical lock.

High-Density TPU 95A Polymer

  • Indestructible & Flexible: Unlike brittle PLA or PETG plastics that crack under high motor torque or fail in cold weather, our high-flow TPU 95A polymer absorbs vibration and withstands heavy abuse on set.
  • Non-Marring Friction Lock: The natural elasticity of the polymer creates a powerful friction grip that locks onto your lens without set screws, clamps, or zip ties. Completely safe on rubber ribs and vintage anodized finishes.
  • Concentric Machined Finish: Built with dense structural perimeters and concentric surface contours, delivering a clean, lathe-turned aesthetic that matches high-end cinema setups.

True 0.8 MOD Cine Standard

  • Smooth Tooth Profile: Tooth geometry with smooth 0.2 mm fillets ensures quiet, backlash-free tracking with high-torque wireless motors such as Tilta Nucleus, DJI Focus Pro, and SmallRig.
  • Unified Rigging: Standardize your vintage prime set with our 80OD and 90OD profiles to keep your follow focus motor position locked when swapping lenses during a shoot.
